BDM206 Eraserhead Review

Eraserhead
Director: David Lynch

Eraserhead was possibly the most uncomfortable movie I have seen. I think this was due to the long, drawn out pauses and the lack of dialogue. I found it very difficult to pay attention to the whole film as the story line was jagged and disconcerting. However, the acting and camera angles were well done. Jack Nance's ability to portray his emotions without dialogue was impressive even though the movie itself made very little sense to me. I also thought the music was well suited to the film if the intention of the director was to make his audience as uncomfortable as possible.
